The Energy Painter's main responsibility is to support the activities of Key Cooperative’s Petroleum Department to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the following duties.
This is a seasonal position.
Work Quality
Schedules and executes propane tank painting with customers.
Document and turn in work orders to CSR for updates on accounts and billing.
Work Schedules
Completes all assigned tasks according to work order estimates and their daily work schedule.
Willing to work Saturdays depending on work load and weather.
Displays reliable attendance and communicates schedule.
Customer Service
Respect customer's property, use of tarps and avoid spilled paint/overspray.
Be able to communicate and solve differences of opinion with the customer.
Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees at all times; exhibits good customer relations skills.
Inventory & Requirements
Maintains inventory at Energy shop and in service truck.
Inform supervisor to reorder supplies.
Scrape or pressure wash to prep tank for paint.
Prime base/rust spots as needed.
Use two coats of paint to ensure coverage of all sides.
Avoid painting valves, data plates and system components.
Safety & Organization
Expected to attend all relevant installation and safety training in Energy products.
