Summary
Under the direction of the Dietary Manager:
Responsible for all aspects of meal preparation, meal service, and overall food quality according to the planned menu, resident preferences, and physician-ordered therapeutic diets and plans of care
Demonstrates appropriate sanitation and infection control practices to meet state and federal regulations
Oversees the general kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Manager
Qualifications / Requirements
Quantity food preparation experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable
