SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Millennium Therapy is looking to add Full-time, Parttime, and PRN Speech Language Pathologists to our staff.
Millennium Therapy operates throughout Iowa, to provide Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy in a variety of clinical settings including Outpatient, Nursing Homes, Hospitals, Assisted Living, and Home Health.
Our staff is trained to provide efficient, effective therapy services, balancing patient needs with reimbursement directives.

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST REQUIREMENTS:
Speech Therapist provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
Participates in the clinical team process.
Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.
Involvement in clinical program development.
Supervises other licensed speech therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required.
Some programs with two or more speech language pathologists/assistants may provide additional administrative duties as assigned.
Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary.
Frequent physical effort with medium to heavy objects.
Transferring patients/residents weighing between 100 to 250 lbs is frequently required.
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST QUALIFICATIONS:
Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Professional Licensure in the state of hire; two years of clinical experience preferred.
Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Utilizes effective time management skills.
Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
