Position Summary: Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic care to acutely ill patients, assists with transport of patients to / from departments, assists in retrieving supplies for departments, assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Completion of and certification from an approved 75 or 120 hour nursing assistant program
EXPERIENCE:
Prefer prior experience as a CNA in acute care, but not required
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:
BLS within 90 days of hire
