Position Summary:
The mammography technologist is responsible for performing mammography exams, participating in quality control, quality assurance and other duties related to mammography and required for certification.
They are also responsible for performing radiographic exams, including portables, trauma and surgery.
They will perform necessary clerical duties related to patient care as required.
They will assist with quality improvement projects.
Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
EXPERIENCE
ARRT registered or registry eligible with 1 year of experience in general radiography and mammography.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE
ARRT registered or registry eligible with a current Iowa Permit to Practice.
BCLS required.
