BASE Manager:
Job Summary: Assume primary responsibility for clinical services provided by the Company.
Direct, coordinate and supervise all clinical functions.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations as they apply to the provision of patients.
Assure compliance with company Policy and Procedure.
Monitor job performance and completion of evaluations and counseling of clinical staff.
Classification: Hourly, Full Time, Supervisory roll
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
Paramedic certification with Critical Care Paramedic Endorsement in the State of Iowa for at least 2 years.
AHA HCP CPR and ACLS required.
AHA, PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation Provider and PHTLS preferred.
National Registry Certification Paramedic preferred.
Emergency Vehicle Driving Safety Course preferred.
Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to pediatric and adult populations in a transfer situation.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Knowledge of EMS Standards of Practice required.
Significant experience writing patient care reports required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Speak, read, write and comprehend English.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
National Registry Certification Paramedic preferred.
Emergency Vehicle Driving Safety Course preferred.
Minimum of two years of management/supervisory experience.
Excel and Word proficient
Motivated and self-sufficient.

Demonstrate organizational and leadership skills.
Instructor status in CPR, ACLS and PALS must be maintained or obtained within 6 months of hire.
