The DSP Software Development Manager will be responsible for….
Responsibilities
Required ability to liaise with Product Management and multiple P&L owners to manage development team in line with competing business priorities
Oversee software development functions in developing, releasing, and maintaining software applications/operating systems
Establish policies and procedures that produce high-quality software products and services
Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-teams (DevOps, Maintenance, QA, and similar)
Develops policies and procedures to support the functional infrastructure
Manage the hiring bar and process for new candidates
Help direct reports with personal and career development
Lead the DevOps and maintenance teams
Track Capex vs Opex expenses monthly
Create reports for stakeholders and internal purposes (Power BI or similar)
Enforce the use of KPIs to manage performance and goals
Travel

Familiarity with Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile/Scrum development processes from Ideation to Production and Post-Production Support
Ability to run parallel development for bug fixing, feature development, and core/platform features.
Preferred - Dealing with a remote, distributed, and multi-national team spread across multiple time zones.

Required
Platforms and Frameworks that support multiple products
Cloud/SaaS product development and deployment (AWS or Azure preferred)
Software Products that are revenue generating and part of the company’s P&L.
Support for in-house and external customers for in-production software products
Preferred
familiarity with Data-driven products preferred with structured/unstructured databases, large data warehouses and data lakes, as well as AI/ML technologies.
Multi-lingual products
Health, Finance or similarly regulated industry experience
Education and Experience
Undergraduate degree
5+ year’s Experience in managing a Software/Product Development Team.
Min team size of 5.
10+ team size preferred.
Preferred experience in dealing directly with customers during sales and support cycles
Preferred experience working in a startup culture where roles and duties can overlap and change to meet market and customer demands.
