Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive and inclusive atmosphere
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Communicate with parents or guardians about their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
Skills:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, babysitting, or nannying setting
- Strong caregiving skills and ability to meet the needs of individual children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and ability to handle challenging behaviors appropriately
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability to engage children in educational and fun activities
